Current Volunteer Roles

Tea & Tour Hostess
This volunteer position is responsible for coordinating event logistics, engaging with visitors, and effectively communicating the ministry's mission. The Tea and Tour Hostess will work closely with other volunteers to ensure smooth event operations and an enjoyable experience for all attendees.

Ministry Partner Coordinator
In this role, you will help build and strengthen relationships with other ministries and organizations that align with our mission to support single moms, refugees, and families in need. This position can be done remotely, making it a flexible opportunity for someone who is driven to make a meaningful impact.

Church Liaison
In this role, you will research churches in the surrounding areas to identify opportunities for collaboration. Your efforts will focus on fostering meaningful relationships with church communities to increase support through physical and monetary donations.

Social Media Specialist
The ideal volunteer will visit The Nest once a week to capture photos and videos for reels, helping to showcase our mission and activities in an engaging and visually appealing way. While you will not be responsible for posting content, you will collaborate closely with our social media manager to plan and create high-quality content for our monthly social media schedule.

Writer
In this role, you will work closely with Lynne, transforming her compelling verbal stories into engaging written articles for newsletters. Your contributions will also include crafting copy for print materials, blog posts, and email campaigns, helping us effectively share our mission and impact with a broader audience.

Tea & Tour Hostess
The Nest is a children’s clothing store that receives donations multiple times a week. As a Retail Operations Associate, you'll help process and categorize incoming donations, maintain accurate inventory, and keep the store organized and well-stocked. You'll also use Square to complete sales and provide friendly, helpful customer service.
