Volunteering at The Nest's is a fantastic opportunity to donate your time and skills towards a great cause. The proceeds of the store directly benefit Women's Choice Network's Life Support Programs, which provides vital resources and support to women and families facing unplanned pregnancies. As a volunteer, you'll be tasked with a variety of important duties, such as sorting and pricing clothing donations, organizing inventory, basic cleaning, and packing and shipping Little Birdie Boxes. The work is fulfilling and varied, and children are welcome with adult supervision. If you're interested in volunteering, simply complete the application form and a member of the team will be in touch to discuss your availability and interests. By volunteering at The Nest's resale store and outreach program, you'll be making a tangible difference in the lives of women and families in need, while also gaining valuable experience and contributing to a supportive and welcoming community.

STATEMENT OF FAITH
The Apostle’s Creed We believe in God, the Father Almighty, the Creator of heaven and earth, and in Jesus Christ, His only Son, our Lord: Who was conceived of the Holy Spirit, born of the Virgin Mary, suffered under Pontius Pilate, was crucified, died, and was buried. He descended into hell. The third day He arose again from the dead. He ascended into heaven and sits at the right hand of God the Father Almighty, whence He shall come to judge the living and the dead. STATEMENT ON THE SANCTITY OF HUMAN LIFE
We believe that all human life is sacred and created by God in His image (Genesis 1:26, 27.) Human life is of inestimable worth in all its dimensions, including pre-born babies, the aged, the physically or mentally challenged, and every other stage or condition from conception through natural death. We are therefore called to defend, protect, and value all human life (Ps. 139). We believe and affirm that life begins at conception, at which time the full genetic blueprint for life is in place (Isaiah 44:24, Jeremiah 1:5). Accordingly, we believe that our expression of love and service to God requires that we work to protect and honor life in all stages of creation (Psalm 82:3). As well, we believe and affirm that God’s calling upon us commands that we make special efforts to protect the most vulnerable among us. As such, we view life from conception through birth to be uniquely vulnerable, and therefore work to protect and defend life in these early stages. We do not provide or prescribe contraceptive medications that may harm an embryo and we will never provide abortifacient medications under any circumstances.
STATEMENT ON HUMAN SEXUALITY AND MARRIAGE
We believe that God wonderfully and immutably creates each person as either male or female. These two distinct, complementary sexes together reflect the image and nature of God (Gen. 1:26-27). Rejection of one’s biological sex is a rejection of the image of God within that person. Accordingly, our communication with clients and all other persons reflects the reality of God’s created order—put simply, we use male pronouns to refer to those persons who were created biologically male, and female pronouns to refer to those persons who were created biologically female. We believe that the term “marriage” has only one meaning: the uniting of one man and one woman in a single, exclusive union, as delineated in Scripture (Gen. 2:18-25). We believe that God intends sexual intimacy to occur only between a man and a woman who are married to each other (1 Cor. 6:18; 7:2-5; Heb. 13:4). We believe that God has commanded that no intimate sexual activity be engaged in outside of a marriage between a man and a woman. We believe that any form of sexual immorality (including adultery, fornication, homosexual behavior, bisexual conduct, bestiality, incest, or use of pornography) is sinful and offensive to God (Matt. 15:18- 20; 1 Cor. 6:9-10). We believe that to preserve the function and integrity of [the organization] as the local Body of Christ, and to provide a biblical role model to the [the organization] members and the community, it is imperative that all persons employed by [the organization] in any capacity, or who serve as volunteers, agree to and abide by this Statement on Marriage and Sexuality (Matt. 5:16; Phil. 2:14-16; 1 Thess. 5:22). We believe that God offers redemption and restoration to all who confess and forsake their sin, seeking His mercy and forgiveness through Jesus Christ (Acts 3:19-21; Rom. 10:9-10; 1 Cor. 6:9-11). We believe that every person must be afforded compassion, love, kindness, respect, and dignity (Mark 12:28-31; Luke 6:31). Hateful and harassing behavior or attitudes directed toward any individual are to be repudiated and are not in accord with Scripture nor the doctrines of Women’s Choice Network.
